Limited Supply 205. CTD 27

Hi everyone and happy Friday! I made two card today for two challenges. The first challenge is the Limited Supply Challenge to make easy cards. This one is based is white cs and then the panel is Brocade Blue and the image is stamped in Real Red with a black scallop trim, I added a Real Red button by the sentiment. This is also for the Color Throw down Challenge to use Real Red, Brocade Blue and Black. This would also qualify for a SUO card! This second card is also for both challenges. I got the train die on clearance at Michael's and I just had to use them today!! Aren't they cute?? The tracks were made from a stamp I bought about two years ago from Impress and I think I only used it once before!! I then masked to stamp the Pocket Silhouette images behind the train. The swirls of smoke are one of those $1 punches at Michael's. I attached them with glue dots.
I again have to scan because not only is my camera broken, now is my video camera!! So I am sorry for the washes out images. I did scan with a piece of black card stock behind the images.
Thanks for stopping by!

Color Challenge 203 OCCC

Hi everyone!
Here is my card for today's Color Challenge and another one for the OCCC. The colors we were to use are: Garden Green, Baja Breeze and Pacific Blue. I only have Baja ink so I used Copics to color in my images. The cupcake liners are paper pieced with Urban Garden dsp. I colored in the cupcake tops with my Copics and added Dazzling Diamomds to them.
I stamped the little flowers and colored them in with Copics and layered them up with SU circle punches and the scallop circle punch. I pierced these and on the corners of the main image panel and the panel underneath.
I can't add to many embellies because I am having to scan my cards because my camera is broken.
Thanks for stopping by to look!

Featured Stamper: Vicky Gould

Hello and happy Sunday! I am finally getting around to posting my card for today's Featured Stamper on SCS today: Vicky Gould.

She has an amazing gallery. We are to CASE a card of hers and make our own and change two or more things on it. I chose this one: Piper's 40th Anniversary. I loved the layout. I kept he LOVE theme and the cuttled bg, but changed colors, omitted the ribbon and added a button, used my Labels 2 nesties to frame the main image. I used the new SU set from the bundle promotion.

I stamped the image in Memento Black Tuxedo and colored it in with Prisma pencils and gamsol with a blending stump. I stamped the large heart in Ridinghood Red and cut it out and attached with dimensionals. I then stamped the three hearts in Pale Plum and punched them out and attached two over the flower image and one on the large heart.

I apologize for the picture. Our camera is not working and I had to scan :(.

Thanks for stopping by!

Inspiration Challenge

Happy Saturday all!

I made this card for today's Inspiration Challenge on SCS. I chose this item for mine: Espresso.

I love the simple design and the colors. I made mine into a birthday card since I don't drink coffee, plus I need a birthday card for my sons friend from Pre-School who is having a party next Saturday.

I started with a piece of Ruby Red and ran that through the Swiss Dots folder, I then added a layer of River Rock (I still love this color) and used the thin Ric Rac strip for the edges in place of the decorative one on the original. The image is from Our Craft Lounge Anna Mae. It stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with SU markers and blender pen. I layered this up with the Labels 2 nesties and placed it up on dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Ruby Red directly onto the River Rock!

This was so simple!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Limited Supply- Paint it Black

Hi again! Here is another card for today's Paint it Black Limited Supply Challenge.
I used Martha Stewart Transportation stamp set for this one. The base card id black, then Not Quite Navy, then black again. This layer is cuttlebugged with Traffic Jam!! The next layer is NQN with the arch lattice edge punch and a layer of black cuttled with the dots folder.
I used the Label 1 nesties for the main image. Urban Garden dsp and Basic gray cut in half. The image was stamped in NQN and cut out and adhered with dimensionals. The button up in the corner is the SU NQN button with hemp tied on it and up on a pop dot. The star on the car has stickles on it. I used the Build a Brad for the number 3 which is also form the MS stamp set. The sentiment is So many Scallops stamped in NQN and Kiwi Kiss. This is also up on dimensionals
