Inspiration Challenge

Happy Saturday all!

I made this card for today's Inspiration Challenge on SCS. I chose this item for mine: Espresso.

I love the simple design and the colors. I made mine into a birthday card since I don't drink coffee, plus I need a birthday card for my sons friend from Pre-School who is having a party next Saturday.

I started with a piece of Ruby Red and ran that through the Swiss Dots folder, I then added a layer of River Rock (I still love this color) and used the thin Ric Rac strip for the edges in place of the decorative one on the original. The image is from Our Craft Lounge Anna Mae. It stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with SU markers and blender pen. I layered this up with the Labels 2 nesties and placed it up on dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Ruby Red directly onto the River Rock!

Limite Supply Challenge 201

Hi! Here is my card for today's Limited Suppy Challenge to use some of our favorite things on our cards. Well. I have so many that it ws hard to narrow down. We could use three colors plus a neutral, I used some of the new In Colors: Ridinghood Red, Kiwi Kiss a nd Pink Pirouette. Another fav is any of the SU dsp. I chose Bella Blossoms. Our Craft Lounge is becoming on of my favorite new companies, especially since I was at Archiver's today and found that they are carrying them, plus I had a 30% coupon!! Score!! So I bought this new set today!! I chose the tree image and colred it in with my new favorite coloring item: Copics! The punches I used were the word window, large oval, 1" circle and the photo corner. I colored in the image ans cut oout with the rectangle nesties and I then I used the heart block cuttlebug folder. I paper pierced the sentiment.

My new favorite thing to do is to decorate the inside of my cards. I see that a lot of peaople are doing it and it really adds alot to the crd.
