Featured Stamper- FlowerGal

Happy Sunday!!

What a terrific way to spend the day by perusing through Flowergals gallery. She has such a wonderfully creative style, plus she leaves the best comments!! Here is the card I chose to CASe:

CC172 Taken with Ann Ryan

I changed: colors, theme, added ribbon and moved the sentiment.

I loved the layout! I went with a snowman card also for the OCCC in which we were to make a card with snowflakes or snowman or both! Well I love snowmen and snowflakes so I did both.
I use Basic Gray Wassail, So Saffron, Mellow Moss and Ridinghood Red. The white snowflake is felt and the other two are from Martha Stewarts punch. I also added a crystal gem to the center of the snowflake. I added some Dazzling Diamonds and scalloped the one layer. I used a glitter marker to make dots on the scallops.

Inspiration Challenge 156

Happy Saturday everyone!

I am just exhausted after my 13 hour shopping escapade yesterday!! I did accomplish alot though!I saw today's Inspiration Challenge and I wanted to play along.

I just loved the simplicity and the colors. I used Prism white and Creamy Caramel. I just bought these Cuttlebug strip embossing folders yesterday and I thought they would be perfect for the edging. I used the Dazzling Versamark and detailed white embossing powder for the flower and I just used the Basic Black marker for the stems.
I then used the twill ribbon for the two corners and the MS butterfly punch. I daubered just the edges of the butterflies in Creamy Caramel. The main panel is up on dimensionals.
Thanks for looking and please leave a comment!

Color Challenge 194

Hi!

Here is my card for today's Color Challenge to use Really Rust, Going Gray and Very Vanilla. Well, I don't have ANY of the inks, just the cardstock. I used Basic Gray ink for my image. I cute the Very Vanilla (base) 5 1/2 x 10 1/2. I then scored at 3' and 2 1/2". I then cut my Going Gray and Really Rust to fit and rounded the edges just on the top layers. For the bottom Going Gray I used the scallop edge punch. I ran the Really Rust cardstock through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots EF.

For the top flap, I used my Crop a Dial to insert the jumbo eyelet and then I strung the Very Vanilla Ribbon through that and around the card.

For the image layers, I stamped Upsy Daisy in Basic Gray and then added a rust colored eyelet from my Crop a Dial kit into the corner. The image layer is up in dimensionals just on the top portion so the card can open.

The inside is layered in the colored cardstock and again I stamped the image in the corner.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Ways to Use It Challenge

Hello!

Here is my card for today's Way to Use It Challenge to use pearls on our cards. I used pearls is two different ways today. First, I used Pearl Ex on my Santa from Rubber Stampede. I just love this Santa image and this is the first time I have inked him up. I brushed on the Pearl Ex after applying the medium. I used yesterday's Sketch Challenge because I wasn't able to participate yesterday. I felt that it was a good fit for the image. The DP is from Basic Greys new line of paper called Wassail. It is just so pretty, I used two different patterns. The base card is Mellow Moss then layered with So Saffron and the Wassail. I next used my CM square punch to make the squares for the corners. I added the half back pearls to the center of each square. The Santa was then applied with dimensionals and I then used the Cute and Curly Label Bundle for the sentiment. I stamped it twice, once in Ridinghood Red and again in So Saffron. I punched out just the Merry Christmas that I stamped in So Saffron with my small oval punch and adhered it with a dimensional.
The ribbon fiber was wrapped around twice and tied in a knot. I embellished the inside of my card with So Saffron, white and a piece of the Wassail.

Happy Sunday!
What a fabulous gallery today we had to choose from for today's Featured Stamper: Kendra.

I loved perusing her gallery. I settled on this one: Stamp a Stack Elegant. We are to change at least two things on the card to make it our own. I changed the stamp set, but I kept it a flower, colors, added some layers and made my images on a rectangle instead of an oval. I also added a sentiment to mine. You can never have enough Thank You cards!! LOL! The dp I used is from Basic Greys Archaic. I just love the colors and patterns in this one. Each panel is ran through the Cuttlebug with the Argyle folder. I added a brad to the bottom left of the image and decide not o make a bow, but just to wrap the ribbon around the panel. Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to leave a comment.

I used my Martha Stewart Lace edge punch for the bottom of the dp. I then layered Sage Shadow, Ridinghood Red and used the same edge punch for that. I then layered Sage Shadow and the image that is stamped onto Whisper White. I added a ribbon by sliding it through a slot punch made on the image panel. I then added dew drops, buttons and the sentiment. I decorated the inside of my card with a layer of Whisper White and on the bottom I used a piece of Sage Shadow and the same dp with the Lace edge punch. I will try to get the picture of that on here! I am still learning how to use this blog!!

Christmas Tree Box-TCL194

Hi everyone!
Here is my project for today! Now I know why I don't do triangles!! LOL!! I made this from the template seen here: Christmas Tree Template. This was fun to make, but the triangles did me in! I used non traditional colors for this. I had seen alot of River Rock used lately and I just love this color so I pulled it out for today. I then realized that I don't have ANY good Christmas stamps, like NONE!! So I just used the Cute and Curly label which I stamped twine, once in River rock and again in Chocolate chip. I used the small oval punch to punch out just the sentiment. I used my MS branch punch and punched out in the River Rock and Chocolate Chip and attached behind the sentiment. I found this Hampton Arts Peace dove so I stamped him in Stazon Black and colored him in with a blender pen and River Rock ink pad. To finish this off, I tied a River Rock ribbon, tied it in a knot and attached with a pop dot.

Limited Supply Challenge and Beate's WSC

Hi!

Here is my card for today's Limited Supply Challenge and Beate's WSC.

I found this Marcella dp today at Target and thought it would match up with the new Kiwi Kiss color and it does.

My card size is 4 1/2 x 5 1/2. I punched the circles from my Marvy Punches. The image is from Lizzi Ann's Big Blossoms. I haven't inked this up in a while so I thought I would dig it out for today. The images were colored in by using Kiwi kiss, Bashful Blue and Cranberry Crisp ink pads and a blender pen.

The butterfly and flower are popped up on dimensionals. The sentiment is a piece of Kiwi Kiss cut out with the small nesties and stamped the sentiment in Basic Black. This is also popped up on a dimensional. I finished off by piercing the corners with my mat pack and using the slot punch for the ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Ways to Use It Challenge

Hi!!

I finally was able to sit down and make today's challenge card: Cutting Corners. I had my 20 month old sitting next to me the whole time I was trying to put this together. This is not how I invisioned my card at all, but I am happy with the way it turned out.
I punched the balloons three times in Not Quite Navy, Apricot Appeal and Certainly Celery. I cut them out and adhered with dimensionals after I stamped them onto the WW layer. I then used my ticket corner punch on the NQN and WW layer. I used a Fiskers punch called Lace that has three different styles in one punch. I think this has been sitting in my drawer for about a year!! Thanks for making me get it out! I punched the corners of the Apricot layer. I then stamped Linen tone on tone on the same layer.
For the middle panel I used my new MS edge punch that embosses flowers which is hard to see in the photo. I tied CC ribbon around that and added a piece of AA and navy ribbon in that. The sentiment was stamped twice once in NQN and then in CC. I punched out just the wording part and adhered with a dimensional. To finish it off, I added dew drops.

Whew!! Well thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my creation today!!

Technique Lover's Challenge

Hi everyone!!

What a sad day for me today. I had to attend one of my best friend's mom's funeral this morning. She passed away suddenly this past Wednesday morning at home in her sleep.

So I made this card to send to her to let here know that hope is still possible! I lost my mom about 12 years ago, so I know how hard it is to lose a parent. I hope this card will help her in her journey of this loss.
I used chocolate chip, brocade blue and Basic Grays Offbeat dp to create this card. I punched the medallion from the video from Becca's Blog seen here:http://www.amazingpapergrace.com/circle-frame-tutorial/
I colored in the image with my SU! markers, stamped Linen in chocolate chip on the medallion then I stamped the sentiment into the opening of the curly label. I used the Photo Corner Punch for the accent on the corners and lifted the image ans sentiment up on dimensionals.
Thanks for taking a peek!

Featured Stamper- Becca

Hi everyone! This is my first post on my blog! Wow, I can't believe that I have started one. Today our Featured Stamper was Becca! Wow, what a gallery.

I loved her layout and the flower image so I kept that. I changed the colors, flipped the sketch and cuttlebugged the bottom panel and not the strip. I used crystal brads instead of regular ones and not as many.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you soon!
