Limited Supply 205. CTD 27

Hi everyone and happy Friday! I made two card today for two challenges. The first challenge is the Limited Supply Challenge to make easy cards. This one is based is white cs and then the panel is Brocade Blue and the image is stamped in Real Red with a black scallop trim, I added a Real Red button by the sentiment. This is also for the Color Throw down Challenge to use Real Red, Brocade Blue and Black. This would also qualify for a SUO card! This second card is also for both challenges. I got the train die on clearance at Michael's and I just had to use them today!! Aren't they cute?? The tracks were made from a stamp I bought about two years ago from Impress and I think I only used it once before!! I then masked to stamp the Pocket Silhouette images behind the train. The swirls of smoke are one of those $1 punches at Michael's. I attached them with glue dots.
I again have to scan because not only is my camera broken, now is my video camera!! So I am sorry for the washes out images. I did scan with a piece of black card stock behind the images.
Thanks for stopping by!

She has an amazing gallery. We are to CASE a card of hers and make our own and change two or more things on it. I chose this one: Piper's 40th Anniversary. I loved the layout. I kept he LOVE theme and the cuttled bg, but changed colors, omitted the ribbon and added a button, used my Labels 2 nesties to frame the main image. I used the new SU set from the bundle promotion.

I stamped the image in Memento Black Tuxedo and colored it in with Prisma pencils and gamsol with a blending stump. I stamped the large heart in Ridinghood Red and cut it out and attached with dimensionals. I then stamped the three hearts in Pale Plum and punched them out and attached two over the flower image and one on the large heart.

Inspiration Challenge

Happy Saturday all!

I made this card for today's Inspiration Challenge on SCS. I chose this item for mine: Espresso.

I love the simple design and the colors. I made mine into a birthday card since I don't drink coffee, plus I need a birthday card for my sons friend from Pre-School who is having a party next Saturday.

I started with a piece of Ruby Red and ran that through the Swiss Dots folder, I then added a layer of River Rock (I still love this color) and used the thin Ric Rac strip for the edges in place of the decorative one on the original. The image is from Our Craft Lounge Anna Mae. It stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with SU markers and blender pen. I layered this up with the Labels 2 nesties and placed it up on dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Ruby Red directly onto the River Rock!

This was so simple!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Featured Stamper 101- JayDeKay, OCCC

Happy Sunday everyone!

Here is my card for today's Featured Stamper on SCS JayDeKay. She had an awesome gallery, you should check it out!! I also made this for the OCCC to use two shades of blue along with a neutral color. My two shades of blue are Bashful Blue and Buckaroo Blue along with Kraft being my neutral.

The FS challenge is one where you pick a card from the FS gallery and change two or more things on it. This is the card I chose: ssnotime34 Happy Critters. I liked the layout and that is kind of what I stuck with. The card size is 4 1/2 x 4 1/2. The bottom panel is square, but he other panel is more rectangle to fit the image I chose. I also changed the colors, theme, moved the sentiment, added the button, omitted the stitching and did some doodling. The back Kraft panel was ran through the Cuttlebug. The square panel had Basic Gray Boxer dp and the image was colored in with watercolored pencils and a blender pen.

I hope you like what I did here!!

Limited Supply 202- Hearts

Hi! I made another one for this fun challenge to use hearts, but the catch was the it use pink or red, heart image, embossed hearts or anything that has any of the above on the card. I went with an all Pink Pirouette and Whisper White card. I did the negative embossed folder technique with the block heart folder. The image was stamped in Dazzle Versamark and then Pink Pirouette and clear embossed, I did the same for the sentiment, I cut them out with my nesties and layered the, on Pink Pirouette, Each fo the images are up on dimensionals. The ribbon is wrapped half way around the card and adhered in the back. I made the bow and attached a big pink button in the middle.

Here is a close up of the sentiment. I used stickles for the heart. It is really sparkly IRL. You can kind of see the shimmer on the letters from the Versamark.
Thanks for stopping by and have a terrific weekend!

Inspiration Challenge 161

Hi, Here is my card for the Inspiration Challenge. What fun cakes we had to choose from for our creations today. This one is called Warning Signs.
