I made my first cloud image to go behind the boat. I made the BAB and put the number 1 that was stamped in Cranberry Crisp. The side panel has three eyelets and hemp string through that. Color Challenge 199

Hi! Here is my card for today's Color Challenge to use Bravo Burgundy, Handsome Hunter and So Saffron. Love these classic colors together. I kind of went for a vintage Valentine card, I am not sure if I achieved it! The image is Bo Ho Blossoms from MFT. I stamped the heart in BB and the other image in SS. I cut the image out and used dimensionals to adhere to the nesties. I then place a button in the center of the heart with a pop dot. The sentiment is stamped in BB and punched out with the word window punch and adhered with pop dots. The dp is all Basic Gray scraps that I had laying around. I made a BAB for the top right corner and I found these clips at the $1.99 spot at Achiever's. The ribbon is Making Memories.
This is just a side view of the card so you could see the dimension.

TLC 201 Fun Funky Fold

Hi,
Here is my card for today's challenge for the Fun Funky Fold. I guess I made it right! It was so easy and fun to make. I made the fold from Basic Gray Archaic dp. I punched a scallop circle from my Marvy punch in Baroque Burgundy and another small circle in brown. I ran both through the cuttlebug distressed embossing folder. I stamped the alligator in Always Artichoke, cut it out and adhered with a large pop dot. The balloons where stamped in the same colors, cut out and up on pop dots. The birthday hat was colored in with SU! markers, cut out and up on a dimensional. The hemp for the balloons are adhered with small pop dots under neath the balloons and again at the mouth. I attached a coordinating brad, stamped the sentiment, punched it out with the word window punch and attached with pop dots. The main image panel is attached onto a slight larger piece of Baroque Burgundy with dimensionals which is also embossed with the distressed folder. The hemp string is wrapped around the card from the back of the fold. I punched two slots on each side and pulled the string through. I left enough slack so when it is opened, it can open all the way.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week and Happy New Year!!

Featured Stamper 99 and OCCC

Hi!
I made this for two challenges today, The first is for the FS over on SCS Stampfilled Dreams. She has a terrific gallery. This is the card I chose for today: Bootiful Dresses
I loved the simple layout and the girly theme. We are to change at least two things on the card for the challenge. Mine are: I used dp, made an acetate card, colors and layers. The dp is Urban Prairie from Basic Gray, the cs is Kiwi Kiss and Pink Pirouette. I stamped the image in BB and colored it in with my new Copic markers, I added crystal effects to the two hearts and sprinkled dazzling diamond on top of that. I just love these bow and that is one reason I picked this card. I made the bow from the PP ribbon and added a pearl accent. I then paper pierced the top to simulate the swiss dots on the original card. The second challenge is on Our Creative Corner in which we were to use something clear on our cards. I was so excited this morning when I checked this blog to find out that I was the winner of the Lovey Dovey Challenge!! I have not won anything on any of the blog challenges yet, so I was just thrilled! So thank you ladies for choosing my card as the winner!! I made this card with acetate, my first too! This card will be for my good friends' daughter whose birthday is coming up in January, She is the best princess that I know!!

Insiration Challenge 160

Hi!~
Here is my card for today's IC on SCS. I chose this image for my inspiration: Bleeker Street.
I went with the patterns and the purse style. I actually made a purse card, my first. I took a piece of black cardstock, cut it to 6 x 12 and scored at each end at 4 1/2, I attached the Urban Prairie dp. I then put some making Memories lace ribbon on the bottom half. The handles is felt ribbon. The sentiment was stamped in kiwi Kiss and punched out with the large oval punch and attached with hardware. To keep the purse closed, I used a library clip and attached primas on each side then finished it off with a crystal sticker in the center. I am pretty happy with the outcome, although it took me forever!1 I think next time I will use jumbo eyelets for the handles.
Thanks for looking!

Limited Supply- No More Holdiay Cards 200

Hi everyone!
I hope everyone had a terrific Christmas spending time with family and friends. We certainly did. We did unfortunately lose a friend and family member Christmas Eve morning, we had to put our family dog to sleep. She was the heart and soul of the family for 12 years. She has been blind for about 2 years and over the last week, she went down hill pretty fast. So in honor of our dear pet, I made this card. My dh is so heartbroken that I will be giving this to him one day. This card is also for SCS Limited Supply Challenge to make a non holiday card and not using red or green. I did use Sage Shadow, but not for holiday use.

The card bade is Lovely Lilac with layers of Sage Shadow and Pacific Blue. The Pacific Blue was ran through the Cuttlebug in the bubbles folder. I next stamped the image in Basic Black and colored in with mt NEW Copic markers that Santa brought me!!! It is also cored in using Bic markers and Prisma pencils and gamsol. I cut out with the curved rectangle nesties and matted with Close to Cocoa, which is adhered up on a dimensional. The sentiment is stamped in Sage Shadow and punched out with the word window punch and layered in Sage Shadow and Lovely Lilac and up on a dimensional. The two panel under the image are Lovely Lilac and Sage Shadow with silver brads on the top. The dragonfly was stamped in Basic Black, colored in with Copics and cut out and adhered with a pop dot.
I hope you like what I have done here. Thanks for stopping by!

Color Challenge 198

Hi! Well, I made another one for this Color Challenge. I have just found out that a friend of mine has been diagnosed with a recurrence of cancer. From what I understand they have found it in time and no surgery is required just chemotherapy. I am happy that it was found in time, but saddened that she will have to go through the chemo again. I am going to send her this card to let her know to "Embrace Life" and that she has a friend here if she needs anything! I hope that this holiday season brings some glimmer of hope and joy to her and her family. I will be keeping them in my thoughts and prayers.

Limited Supply Challenge 198 Going Green

TGIF!!

Here is my card for the Limited Supply Challenge on SCS "Going Green". What fun. I probably could be making a cardevery day this way with all the scraps and unused stamped images I have around!! Well you ask, what is recycled here?? The snowman was stamped some time ago and the snowflakes were also punched out a while ago. Most of the cardstock was reused except for for the dp which is fairly new. I tried to mask a tree behind the snowman, but I guess I moved him a bit when I did so there is some space there. I colored this relaxed snowman with my Bic markers and clear stardust jelly pen. there is some Cotton Ball Fun Flock under this snowman.

I hope you like what I did today. I am home with a sick child today :(. I am happy that you came by to say HI!!

Sketch Challenge 206

Hi!!

What a fun sketch today over on SCS!! I had a completely different idea for this card in my head, but this is the way it came out!! I am pretty happy with it. I started with Blue Bayou as the base card, mellow moss and Playtime dp. The next layer was cut by using my CM cutter. I added dashes with the white gel pen on the red layer. The next layer is Blue Bayou and WW which I ran through with the Swiss Dots EF. I stamped the snowflake in Real Red, Mellow Moss and Blue Bayou and layered them on the scalloped circles in the coordinating colors. I put DD on each snow flake. I used Blue Bayou ribbon for an embellishment. I didn't have any room for a sentiment, so I left it off. I also decorated the inside of the card with Real Red and WW cardstock and a strip on the dp. Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to make a comment!!

Color Challenge 196

Hello everyone!

Here is my card for today's Color Challenge to use Taken with Teal, Ridinghood Red, Baja Breeze and Whisper White. What a fun combination, not one I would have put together. I started with taken with Teal for my base card, then a layer of Ridinghod Red and Baja Breeze. I ran the Baja Breeze layer through the Cuttlebug in the Argyle folder. The next layers are taken with Teal and Martha Stewart's dp. The image was first stamped in Basic Black and colored in with my Bic markers. I am hoping Santa will buy me my first set of Copics, but none the less, I love these markers!! I then used my Long Rectangle Nesties to cut and emboss the image. The last layer is Ridinghood Red also with the Long Rectangle Nesties and adhered with dimensionals Next, I used my Crop-a-Dial fto put in the eyelets. I so not have any RHR ribbon, so I used Real Red. The sentiment was stamped in Taken with Teal and I use the Su oval punches. The snowflakes were sponged in Baja Breeze and Ridinghood Red and attached with dimensionals. I made this for my DH aunt and uncle who just had us up to their house for a family Christmas. Ways to Use It Challenge, Sketch Challenge

Hello!!

I have been so busy, so today I combined yesterday's Sketch Challenge from SCS and today's Way to Use It Challenge in which we were to embellish our envelopes. I often do this already, but lately I have been doing the inside of my cards. Maybe next time we will be doing that!! Anyways, I started out with a piece of Certainly Celery for my base. Then a Close to Cocoa layer and then three strips if Real Red and Chatterbox dp. The image is from Rubber Stampede and the hostess set Best Yet. I added a Filigree accent and the silver brads on the side. The sentiment was punched with the large oval punch from SU! I tried to do the Gamsol technique with the Cardinal bird. I used my Prisma colored pencils and OMS. It is hard to see, but I used the clear stardust pen on the pine needles. The image and sentiment are up on dimensionals.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!!

LimeLight Challenge Day 2

Here is my card for Day 2 of the Limelight Challenge that can be found here: LimeLight Challenge Day 2. This was an Inspiration Challenge of a lovely, snowy hillside! I am not much of a snow person, but what a beautiful sight to be able to look at after a snow. I used the technique from yesterday's SCS challenge. I brayered a piece of glossy white with Basic Gray and stamped the tree image several time in Dazzzle Versamark and embossed in black. I then added some Dazzling Diamond to the trees and sprayed son hydrogen peroxide to the card. The sentiment was also embossed in black and cut out with the nesties rectangles. I use the slot punch to thread the ribbon.

Thanks for these fun challenges!

Color Challenge 195

Hi!

I made this card for today's Color Challenge on SCS to use Sahara Sand, Basic Black and Very Vanilla. I just love these colors together. I started out with Basic Black then a layer of Sahara Sand and then Vanilla. I ran the vanilla through the cuttle bug and I used the MS edge punch on the Sahara Sand. I made the cross layer with Basic Black and Sahara Sand and used the lace edge punch on that too. I stamped the image on Very Vanilla and cut it out with the oval nesties. I put a brad through the center of the flower. I used the slot punch to tun the ribbon through. The cross layer and image are on dimensionals.

The inside has a layer of Sahara Sand and Vary Vanilla and I stamped the flower image on that and did the lace edge punch on the vanilla layer.

Color Challenge 194

Hi!

Here is my card for today's Color Challenge to use Really Rust, Going Gray and Very Vanilla. Well, I don't have ANY of the inks, just the cardstock. I used Basic Gray ink for my image. I cute the Very Vanilla (base) 5 1/2 x 10 1/2. I then scored at 3' and 2 1/2". I then cut my Going Gray and Really Rust to fit and rounded the edges just on the top layers. For the bottom Going Gray I used the scallop edge punch. I ran the Really Rust cardstock through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots EF.

For the top flap, I used my Crop a Dial to insert the jumbo eyelet and then I strung the Very Vanilla Ribbon through that and around the card.

For the image layers, I stamped Upsy Daisy in Basic Gray and then added a rust colored eyelet from my Crop a Dial kit into the corner. The image layer is up in dimensionals just on the top portion so the card can open.

The inside is layered in the colored cardstock and again I stamped the image in the corner.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Ways to Use It Challenge

Hello!

Here is my card for today's Way to Use It Challenge to use pearls on our cards. I used pearls is two different ways today. First, I used Pearl Ex on my Santa from Rubber Stampede. I just love this Santa image and this is the first time I have inked him up. I brushed on the Pearl Ex after applying the medium. I used yesterday's Sketch Challenge because I wasn't able to participate yesterday. I felt that it was a good fit for the image. The DP is from Basic Greys new line of paper called Wassail. It is just so pretty, I used two different patterns. The base card is Mellow Moss then layered with So Saffron and the Wassail. I next used my CM square punch to make the squares for the corners. I added the half back pearls to the center of each square. The Santa was then applied with dimensionals and I then used the Cute and Curly Label Bundle for the sentiment. I stamped it twice, once in Ridinghood Red and again in So Saffron. I punched out just the Merry Christmas that I stamped in So Saffron with my small oval punch and adhered it with a dimensional.
The ribbon fiber was wrapped around twice and tied in a knot. I embellished the inside of my card with So Saffron, white and a piece of the Wassail.

Happy Sunday!
What a fabulous gallery today we had to choose from for today's Featured Stamper: Kendra.

I loved perusing her gallery. I settled on this one: Stamp a Stack Elegant. We are to change at least two things on the card to make it our own. I changed the stamp set, but I kept it a flower, colors, added some layers and made my images on a rectangle instead of an oval. I also added a sentiment to mine. You can never have enough Thank You cards!! LOL! The dp I used is from Basic Greys Archaic. I just love the colors and patterns in this one. Each panel is ran through the Cuttlebug with the Argyle folder. I added a brad to the bottom left of the image and decide not o make a bow, but just to wrap the ribbon around the panel.
