Beate's WSC 68

Hi everyone and Happy Valentine's Day! I woke up to a large sign made by by kids that they colored and drew pictures on! Needless to say, I was in tears! They were so proud of it!
On to the card! This is for Beate's WSC 68. I was thrilled that she is back with more inspiring sketches for us to try! I needed to make a birthday card for my son's godfather whose birthday is in a few days. I have a hard time with masculine cards! I like the colors though! I used Night of Navy, Baja Breeze and River Rock (still my favorite). The dp is from Afternoon Teas dsp and and an unknown. I started by stamping the image is Tuxedo Black and colored the image in with my Copics, I tried to get as close as I could to the colors with my limited supply of Copics! I then cut it out with my nesties Label 1. I used the red for a POP color. The large oval and smaller circle were cut by using my CM cutting system.
I pierced the larger oval with a piercing plate I bought through Our Daily Bread. The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy and I then used the background small stamp from the Delight of Life set in River Rock over the sentiment.
The larger oval, image panel and sentiment are on dimensionals and I then added the bottom with some hemp twine and a square clip with some ribbon and hemp twine tied on it.
Thanks for stopping by!
Patty
